how much would a brigs and stratton 250cc twin motor cost?
plan to put it on a mini chopper or build a Motor Scooter for my grand daughter.
A 18 - 30 horse Briggs V-twin is fine for a well-designed mini-chopper, but unless your gran-daughter is old enough to have a license, it's probably a bit much for a mini-bike.
For a child, I suggest a 3- 4 horse engine geared for about 30 mph. Tecumseh makes engines just for the purpose.
Btw, many Cushman enthusiasts are putting Briggs V-twins and Comet CVT drives on the Cushman Eagle scooters. Some achieve top speeds of 100mph.
